there is none..

just look at the forums here:

https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/co...-finished.html
2011 , 2012 and 2013's have no difinitions made by Cobb..

All are for previous models , so if you plan on running unsupported maps by all means. Plus they even pulled their current maps for the 2011:

https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/co...maps-gone.html

so untruths???

And I never said I didn't like it.. I actually even posted a request :

https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/co...2-support.html

the off the shelve maps they have only support older vehicles..
I even bought one to find out it didn't work.. in the end I just got my definition and ran evoscan to get stuff to work.

i wanted a AP since I was doing light mods and I didn't want to go the route of pulling a laptop..

the moment they fully support the 2012's I might go back to it. But for now I don't feel comfortable running tunes that were not designed for my current year vehicle.

Hmm, Interesting enough, I have read those threads prior to posting this one. Neither of them were a simple yes or no. Most of it was, because there is no release versions of the OTS maps. Then a big counter to that was a Protune or the beta maps are out.

Has anyone tried the Beta maps for a 2012 evo?

From a testing stand point, Beta means that there is little to no bugs and is ready to be released to live.

well the beta maps were pulled as well..
supposedly they are coming out with new maps but it seems they are lagging on it.

plus the beta maps from what I've read are for the 2010's and below. I don't remember 100% though if they had the beta 2011's ( for our sakes the 2011's ECU should be the same as 12's and 13's)

Either way I didn't want to seem like i didn't like it. Like everyone else here I was looking forward to it .. But the recent lapse of updates from Cobb kinda concerned me a bit , making me think they are dropping all support for us.

For now my trusty laptop is making rounds lol.

Oh I completely understand.. Its hard to get behind something if the manufacturer isnt really 100% behind it either.

But it looks like they do have the beta maps here

https://forums.cobbtuning.com/forums...volution-X-GSR

And not to throw a wrench in to the equation, but what about the maps from Perrin? I know they offer their version of the Stage 1 map. I cant imagine they are much different, but if they are offering the AP at around the same price point and with a little bit more solid map option, I might just go that route.

Just as an FYI, 2012's seem to be overboosting with the stock maps, forcing people do dial back to the 91 oct map, which kinda sucks............

Yup. Made a thread about it, haven't heard a peep from anyone at the Cobb forums

https://forums.cobbtuning.com/forums...osts-after-all

27 PSI would be OK if there weren't a couple counts of knock showing up. Plus that was when the weather was warm.

First mod should be short shifter + bushings.
