As an update, my buddy with the 12' F150 EcoBoost crew-cab. He added aFe intake, full exhaust and a tune and ran a 13.8 @97mph.

Impressive for a 7000lb fullsize pickup

I was in the same boat. Gave up my Lariat Supercrew for an Evo X. Well, I miss the room and comfort of the F150. One thing I don't miss is paying at the pump.

Not bad! Just the other day, Livernois ran a 12.87 @ 103.44. They claim mods are only their 93 tune, downpipe, and 170 deg Tstat. Here's a link:

Pretty good for full size truck!

I finally took the Evo for a test drive today! In stock form, it definitely felt a lot quicker than I thought it would. Overall, I was pretty impressed with the car. It felt solid, and rode pretty nice given the type of car it is! The only thing I noticed was a slight rattling sound coming from under the dash at certain RPM. I kept the radio off the whole time I was test driving the car, and this was the only thing I noticed. I'm sure with the radio on, it would hardly be noticeable if at all.

The car was a bar bones WW 2011 GSR with 7900miles. It didn't have any options, not even fast key which I think would be nice, but not a necessity. It has some curb rash on one of the front wheels, and a few scuffs on the paint, but nothing a clay bar wouldn't remove. Stock tires were pretty worn, I'd guess 35-40% tread life left. Online the dealer is asking $30,491, which I am sure they would come down some. I was thinking of offering them $26,500 for the evo and see if I can get $33,500 in trade in value for my truck.

They also had several new Evo's on the lot. 4 GSR's and one 2 MR's. Maybe I'd being better off spring for one of the new ones if they do not budge on the 2011.

Any thoughts? My apologies for the long post!

LOL that same night, running against his EcoBoost I failed it up with clutch work and got a an 13.68@103.4mph.

Which is telling me, if I stop failing with my 2.14 60' time, I could run 12's

I would go for a new one If you can afford it and take your time, check out the different options like the sight/sound package (HID lights, stereo system upgrade, fast key) SL (leather and sunroof) Aero package etc. If you're not considering options, then I can't see a brand new base gsr killing your wallet. I got a great deal on a leftover 11 model with 5 miles on it with the options I wanted.
