Cleaning Wheels

When y'all clean y'all wheels, do y'all clean the rim all the way through to the back or just the front of the rim?

Also, what's the best stuff you've used to keep the brake dust off your wheels?

Is a pain.

what the title said.

I just TRY and clean the visible area. Forget trying to clean behind the spokes that's too much work.

Also you from Texas? Didn't know Y'all was Thai

Makes cleaning wheels effortless. Soap and water if it's not covered in brake dust. Otherwise, I use Sonax or P21S.

lol, seems like a waste of time. In 5 minutes of braking your rims will be covered in dust again

Buy that brush I linked to. Every car owner should have one in their arsenal.

That's what I feel like I have to do. I can't stand the back of the rim being dark.

Looks good but is it worth it?

Also, is there any product you use to protect the clear coat of the rim?

Believe me, it's totally worth it. You can clean behind the brembos with it. Just shove the brush between each spoke and it cleans the entire inside of the wheel. And if you so desire, you can bend the brush to clean behind each spoke.

Best tool I have besides my dual action polisher

The only thing I could think of is applying something like c-quartz.

Agree. I can make my wheels clean in 15 minutes now versus the 40 it used to take by hand.

What kind of finish are your wheels? Are the gloss or a flat type of finish?

If that's a question towards me they are the stock Enkei GSR wheels.

It was to whoever.. I have a great solution for guys with gloss finished wheels. It's a wax that keeps a lot of break dust away.. And whatever does manage to stay on, will easily whipe off.. I'll be doing a full review soon (prob tomorrow), I'll make sure to link you guys to it..
