Sonax is great. But P21S is a much more gentle product. Sonax is too strong to use at every cleaning IMO. They instantly create a sheen of rust over my rotors. P21S wheel cleaner does not do this, and cleans just as well.[/QUOTE]

I use sonax everytime i wash the car. It does turn all the iron on my rotors red. It washes right off. Sonax is ph netrual no harsh chemicals

Ya, spray it on your rag/towel first. I use the same method to clean the rims on my bike (GSXR) to get all the dirty chain lube and it comes right off. For sure you don't want to spray it on the rim unless you like WD40 on your brakes and tires.

So what method do you use spray on a microfiber towel and rub off or take the wheels off and get to working on them?

Yeah, just clean the outside of the rims, try to blast it with a pressure washer but avoid hitting the paint!

Also, what's the best stuff you've used to keep the brake dust off your wheels?
Soap and water and a sponge is all i ever do to keep them clean. I've never found anything that actually works at keeping the dust off, tried a few, gave up.

yay dusty brembo pads...

Haha you must not have kids. They're cheap ($2-3) work really well, especially between the calipers and the rim.

No Sir, no scratching at all, in fact they don't scratch our more expensive glass bottles.
