Works exhaust?

I am considering the works muffler has anybody done this? I want alittle more sound and free flowing exhaust and they are very reasonably priced. I can't find any sound clips of it though.

its the OEM muffler with some changes.....are you planning on sending your muffler in? otherwise you will spend $400+ on just a muffler...might as well get a full freeflowing exhaust bud

I know it is a stock muffler with some changes and yes I am planning on sending a stock exhaust in so it will only be 200+ shipping. I want a quite exhaust that looks stock and I am going with the AP stage 1 and Perrin Panel filter just to wake the car up a bit not trying to dump a ton of money into the car or reach high whp just a fun daily driver with a bit more power then a stock Evo and STI is all.

Oh ok just making sure..honestly I've never seen anyone with this "setup" my 2 cents is to get a quiet catback...I think you will be more happy in the end with the slight power gains and overall sound compared to stock...

I've heard one. Sounded completely stock, maybe a teeny bit more throaty at idle. Never got to see any before or after dyno comparison though.

There is a thread somewhere on how to modify the muffler yourself by cutting a small flap into it, removing the baffle and then re-welding it up (you or a local shop). The car in this thread had it done with good results, but then later changed to a less restrictive muffler with even better results.
