Sound clips for BR exhausts....poll attached.

Hi all,

We just had a new custom muffler built for our exhaust systems. It has taken 2 months to get this first prototype where I want it to be.

This first sound clip/video is of our lightweight Buschur Racing muffler, this is the loud system. Idle is at 1,000 rpm, this is my RS. The revs range from 3,000 to 7,000 rpm. There is a point in the video where I hold it steady at 3,000 rpm to give an idea of what it sounds like cruising. This exhaust is loud, we know it's loud and advertise it is loud.

This next one is the new muffler we are planning to use. It is not nearly as raspy, weight is the same as our old BR muffler (5.2 pounds) and it is a much nicer looking muffler. I can post pictures of the system too. Below is the video/sound clip.

Here is the picture of the new muffler on the car. I am crazy about how good it looks. 100% 304 grade stainless inside and out. The point of doing this is we want to offer one muffler instead of two. We are developing a muffler that has the weight of our race muffler but a noise level much quieter, closer to the Magnaflow muffler. I think we hit it perfectly with this. Fitment is killer. As an added bonus as you can see with the carbon fiber undertray in the back the angled end on the muffler should help with underside aerodynamics.

I like the sound of the new one also. I have the original on my o4 RS and people can tell I'm driving from miles away. I've been thinking of toning down the exhaust note but didn't want to give up any power. Perhaps this is the ticket.

I like it.. looks like I may have to get rid of the Magnaflow after all. (the new design that is.. the race muffler is just TOO loud for my neighborhood)

Hey Dave,

I can't really tell in the video but how much quieter is it than your racing version?

I currently have your racing one and wanted to go with the magnaflow but am very interested in your new bullet design. can you pm me the shipped price?

P.S. do you wax the undertray? It looks cleaner than my car

Usually new exhausts smoke a bit until all the crap burns out of them.

That would be my normal guess at least. Hope I'm right on that one or you guys have some issues inside that motor.
