Thanks
I have the BR Magnaflow cat back with stock cat and it is very close to stock sounding although it performs very well (see sig). Based on Dave's comments, the new muffler will also be close to stock but slightly louder than the Magnaflow.

So in order they would be Stock->Magnaflow->New BR Race Muffler---->Old BR Race Muffler (quite a bit louder than the other three).

I really like my Magnaflow, but I like the look of the new muffler more than the Magnaflow.

sounds great but i love the sound of my 06 BR 350 #005. its a little louder then stock just the way i like it and sounds fantastic when screeming. it has the stock cat into a buschur (naturally) 3 "cat back with magnaflow, and a 2/.5 in. downpipe into the cat, but the new muffler definetly lokks much better

David, the new muffler sounds great! Sounds refined but yet aggressive. Nice combo.

The new system will be done long before spring. This system in a catback with the stock car will have a little more noise than stock but still very quiet.

Danny,

Friend of mine bought your old car. We had it at the shop on Friday. Who's exhaust was that on the car?

Done long before the spring time? Buschur isn't planning on making springs for the evo? Do you have a timeframe for full production? Thanks I can't wait to order!!!

Will I need to get the SCCA legal version to mate up with stock cat cause eventually I want to go full TB w/ high flow later on?

Thanks again.

Yes, if you aren't doing the turbo back right from the start you will need to order the SCCA version.

personally i love my race muffler. its deep and a bit raspy, gets the girlfriends panties viberating. the new muffler sounds crisper but i like the older sound a lot better. more agressive. the only thing i wish i had with the old muffler was the stock looking tip. the stock tip is sweet looking, but overall i am more than satisfied with my muffler(old one).

The tip sits perfectly in the center of the cutout in the rear fascia. It doesn't rub or touch anywhere, centered as it should be.

Yes, of course we will be offering this in a turboback We already have a turbo back and although our profit margin is MUCH lower selling a turboback we prefer to sell them that way. Saves our customers money and makes much more power this way.

The new mufflers, should be 3-4 weeks. I talked to the company that is making them for us and that is what I was told.

How many of you would be interested in paying a little more for a polished muffler? I was considering have them polished but honestly, the systems get dirty under the car and I have always thought spending time/money polishing something you don't see and won't keep clean is a wasted effort. Let me know your opinions please. The muffler pictured is just brushed, it makes it all look very uniform.

I will get some pricing together for what it costs to have it polished.
