those exhausts look and sound awsome!! great work once again. I love the sound (seriously the best sounding exhaust ive heard), and the little boy inside of me wants one of those exhausts right now but I understand they're loud. If you could make an exhaust that keeps that tone, but is quieter... well you'd have at least my money for sure :P

Girlie,

YOU are the reason I put "guys" like that

I would be glad to do a sound clip of a Magnaflow but I think in order to do it I should do it on the same car and since a Magnaflow will not fit into that hole cut out on that carbon fiber undertray.............I am too lazy to do it Sorry.

I personally don't think this muffler is louder than the Magnaflow. Remember, my car has no cat and is louder than most from engine mods and such.

Not sure yet on the price of the muffler, still haven't had a call today. Probably $225 like the other muffler sections are.

This new muffler could still be a month or more out. I don't know yet, if you want an exhaust now I wouldn't wait for it. Just get the Magnaflow option if you want it quieter.

Power.......the power gain is going to minimal. I believe last time I tested on a 320 whp car the BR muffler made about 3 more whp than the Magnaflow.

dreamlike,

The new muffler is quite a bit quieter. If you want that same tone but even quieter just order the system with the highflow cat.

Also, anyone interested in just a catback this system would be flat our quiet behind the stock cat on the car.

If our fax machines rings here that means our other 4 sales lines are busy. Very sorry you couldn't get through.

No engine problems with the car, it just made 388 whp and 394 ft lbs the day before on the 20G

Glad to hear you guys like the muffler, I'm very happy with it too. It is going to take us awhile to get the first batch in. I am waiting on a call today to find out pricing, time frame and how many I am going to have to have built to even make this happen.

The carbone fiber undertray is $550. I don't wax it, but have been known to clean the underside of my RS

How much quieter is the magnaflow with test pipe compared to your new muffler?
I'd like a quiet exhaust without the restrictions/loss of power/extra weight from the use of a cat. I'm a little older and the quieter the better. =)

Sorry again Juiced, it is unusual for all the lines to be busy. Please try us back.

I hadn't said anything about the new 20g-9 numbers yet. Good news is we got a phone call from a customer yesterday that just installed it on his car with the HD actuator and alky, dyno'd on an AWD MD, with a REFLASH and made 384 whp! The customer was EXSTATIC!! The car wasn't even custom tuned for the turbo yet. I am hoping he will post his results soon.

The Magnaflow with an offroad pipe is MAYBE slightly quieter. I will try and rig a Magnaflow under the car next week and take a quick video to add to this thread.

There is something to remember. For the highest flow/max HP you need the least restriction in the exhaust. For a system to be VERY quiet it usually means having more restriction in it. This is proven from the fairly minor loss in power with the Magnaflow over our race muffler.

I stand by keeping the car legal for road use in that if you want to make the car quieter just run a high flow cat. More and more police are looking under modified cars to check. It is a huge fine if you get caught.

So running just a catback behind the stock cat would be the same or quieter than stock muffler? I'm looking for a little more growl than stock and don't want to do full TB yet and void my warranty with a high flow cat either.

Lastly do you think they will be ready for the spring?

Thanks
