From page 1.

The smoke, it was about 24 degrees F outside/in the bay. That's all it was, cold outside.
No engine problems with the car, it just made 388 whp and 394 ft lbs the day before on the 20G

Glad to hear you guys like the muffler, I'm very happy with it too. It is going to take us awhile to get the first batch in. I am waiting on a call today to find out pricing, time frame and how many I am going to have to have built to even make this happen.

The carbone fiber undertray is $550. I don't wax it, but have been known to clean the underside of my RS

The tip is 4".

We can make a 4" straight cut or angle tip more like the stock one, it's inconvienent for us to do it and will take longer than getting our normal system but we can do it.

The new muffler/system will be the same price as the old. There will be just this one muffler choice in the future, IF I can get them in quantity and IF I can get them close to the prices we pay now.

The weight of this muffler is the same as our lightweight racing muffler from before! This was not an overnight development

The power level is also the same as with our race muffler. This is what we have been after. We have the lightweight and power with less noise. Best of everything.

Complete catback only weighs 16.5 pounds.

Any chance you could get sound clip on an otherwise stock car. I'm guessing your car did not have a stock cat, is that right?

Any idea on when one could order one with the new style? I am planning on ordering from you in the next week or two and wonder if I should wait?

Thanks,

Girlie

How much would it be to add a resonator in the b-pipe to quiet it down even more? I want a complete 3 inch tbe with no bottleneck and cat, but want to keep the sound level down. I'd rather people not know I have an exhaust.

Dave, I haven't had been part of the Evo community long, but I'm really impressed with your professionalism and sincere involvement. Coming from the Honda camp for the past 5 years, I never met any "business" people as helpful, giving and receptive to information as you.

The sounds clips were done on my RS which has the 280 cams in it and no resonators (of course as we had them) and no cat.

Putting in a 3" cat would quiet the car down considerably. That is the smartest thing to do if you want to have a quiet car, make a legal and run a cat. The power loss from our 3" cat isn't very high but really makes it quite a bit quieter.

I don't know for sure how long it will be before we can get these in. I wanted to just get some opinions first!haha I can see it is pretty much in favor of the new muffler, pretty much

The catback is $450 or the entire turbo back is $825 and the turbo back includes the shipping price. It is a MUCH better deal.

I am really hoping I can keep our price the same on these systems with this new muffler, I feel that is critical for sales. We may make less but I am going to say YOU "guys" can plan on the pricing staying the same.

How much is just the muffler for us Magnaflow users?

I HATE to be an *** but do you have a sound clip of the magna flow unit and this new unit?

How much power will it add Vs. the magna flow unit?

Thats what I was thinking. Funny thing is it says right on the video that the setup has a test pipe and I missed it, probably because I was excited to here the Evo vroom vroom

BTW, it sounds alot cleaner and much nicer but still growls when you need it!

Thanks,

Dave,

I was planning on getting your full TBE with the high flow cat and the magnaflow. I'm looking for good power but something reasonablly quiet and I'd like to avoid the freeway drone.

Should I wait to get this new muffler???

Sounds like this new muffler makes more power than the magnaflow with a slight increase in noise.

Is the difference in power worth the extra noise? Let me know. Thanks.
