Here's a video of my car on Pruven's dyno last night with the Bullet muffler w/test pipe. It's cruising around 3000rpm for a while, then a WOT pull:

Dave, can you make it that this new bullet muffler would fit your old Buschur TBE. We all would like to have this muffler piece too but I'm not going to get rid of my old TBE to buy your new one so I can have just the muffler difference.

Thanks. I'm on Tein coilovers. The rear of the car is sitting a good .75" lower on the dyno because it's strapped down pretty hard.

I cannot get the new mufflers out there to owners of the older system simply because I cannot gaurantee the fitment. What I can do is sell the muffler, bend, tip and hanger as a "kit" and you can weld it together on the car so it fits just the way you like it. If you want to do this then yes, I can sell it, $225.

Just installed this exhaust on my car with the test pipe. All i have to say is awesome, sounds great and a good power increase considering the only other thing i have is a K&N drop in filter. The only thing i don't like are the band clamps for the slip fit parts of the exhaust. The one after the test pipe was leaking a little bit so i moved it around and retightened it. I can't feel or here any exhaust gases coming out now just a little condensation came out when i first started the car after it was sitting for a while. The back band clamp connecting the muffler and cat back pipe is leaking a little bit too. I'll try to move it around a little and retighten it tomorrow to see if i can stop the leak. I may end up just going to a local shop and have them put some flanges on the exhaust if i can't fix the leaks. There is no gasket sent with the kit for between the downpipe and test pipe/HFC and Buschur says you don't need one but i'm going to end up putting one in there anyway. I don't think i've ever installed a flanged exhaust without gaskets. I would also get some gaskets for between the test pipe/HFC and cat back pipe and the muffler and cat back pipe if/when i decide to put flanges on. Other then the little leaks at the band clamp spots the exhaust is awesome. Like i said before looks awesome, sounds real good and a good power increase. I really like how it almost looks stock besides sticking out the bumper a little bit, which is better anyway so it doesn't melt the bumper. Can't wait to get my MBC on tomorrow then have Al tune me on Sunday, hopefully put down close to the same power as bernardo did...

That's the only thing holding me back from this exhaust...seems like a headache making sure nothing is leaking with the slip fit design...I'll take the weight hit just give me flanges on all ends.

If the band clamps are leaking, you just need to tighten them more. I had the same issue of not torquing them down properly. Use a large breaker bar or torque wrench to tighten them fully, and the leaks will stop.

Yeah, like i said in my post above i was going to try and move the band clamp around a little and retighten it to see if that helps. Since i'm down at school right now i have limited tools to work with, so i don't have a breaker bar or torque wrench. Pretty much right now a large ratchet is all i have to work with. It's a 1/2" or 3/4" ratchet, i forget, so hopefully i will be able to get the job done with it. I moved and retightened the band clamp at the test pipe and cat back pipe and i'm pretty sure there is no leak anymore. Tonight ill have the car up on jacks again installing my MBC so i'll hopefully fix the leak at the cat back pipe and muffler tonight. Well see what happens. Later

FWIW, I have the new Buschur 3" exhaust with HF Cat and new Bullet muffler.

I tested it with my spl meter and although I'm not an expert by any means, here's what I got:

showing about 90 decibils at the rear of the car at idle about 2 foot behind the tip. This was in my garage, so there might be some echo'ing or something.

showing about 75 inside the cabin under the same conditions.
