Exclamation U0100 and C1617, car won't start

So I just drove my car about 500 miles up to Vermont. It made the trip no problem and I had no issues with the drive up here. As soon as I got here, I parked the car and unloaded my bag. There was about 9 inches of snow on the ground, so my front bumper was acting as a plow, pushing a bit of snow.

I tried to leave about 10 minuets later. I started the car up and it turned over fine. I went to back up, and since I was a little stuck in the snow, it stalled. I tried to turn it on again, and nothing. It wont even try to crank, and all the check engine lights cycle through on my display (ie. check battery, check oil, check coolant, check engine, check AWD.) I take out my Accessport and try to pull the codes. The only codes that come up are ACD: U0100 and C1617.

I tried unplugging the battery and letting it sit for about 10 minuets but it did nothing. I tried to clear the codes with my AP, but it said that it could not communicate with the ECU. As far as mods go, I have a MAPerformance EF2 turbo charger, injectors, TBE, fuel pump, intercooler, and all the other supporting mods. It's a 2008 GSR with about 53,000 miles on it.

Please help!!! Can't be stuck in VT.

You're probably freaking, so here: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...c1617-wtf.html In summary, your ECU has lost all communication.

Yeah, I tried to use my AP to clear the codes and even reflash back to stock, but it cant communicate with the ECU, like you said. Any fixes?

disconnect your battery ,

double check the connections to your ECU.. plug battery back in..
try and see if the communication link comes back up.

Checked, and the connections were good. Still nothing.

It's soooo tempting to write "did you try reading the third paragraph of the first post???" but I've been told by my supervisor (Noize) to chill on the sarcasm, so I won't. tee hee

your right , actually i should have been slapped.. that's what i get for speed reading at work

Well if its not communicating by now.. I would disconnect the battery.. oh crap I am doing it again. lol

The OP hasn't posted so I am guessing he fixed it.

If he hasn't maybe the stealership will take care of it.

Just some friendly info for anyone, the ECM is covered under Federal Emissions warranty for 8years/80k ( any manufacture ) but with mods not sure if the dealer would replace it under the warranty.. wont hurt to ask a dealer that is mod friendly.

Thanks for the info but mine has just over 90,000 miles on it... The dealership is still trying to work out the issue. I wish I knew what could've caused this.
