AEM intake to ETS

My car came with an AEM intake on it and for Christmas the wife bought me an ETS intake and upper intercooler pipe. After putting the intercooler pipe on I started working on the intake soon realizing AEM has there own MAF housing! Of course not compatable... Aside from this will I be missing anything else that would have been removed from the car for the AEM?

You would just need the stock maf housing, unless you go for the ETS 3.5" maf housing. Then in that case you wont need anything from the stock intake.

If you go with the larger MAF you will need a tune right away. If you use the factory MAF housing your good to go. WHen purchasing the MAF make sure you also get the rubber ring that comes with the housing to seal against the maf plate.

Thanks!

Michael,
Do you have a larger MAF housing?
Never mind I see that you do, but it's a pretty penny over a new stock pipe.

Just look in the classifieds on this forum. The stock MAF housing can be found for cheap. Actually the entire stock intake system can be found for cheap haha.
