quick question..

Im at 335whp now and Ive just been really curious... How much power should I be making with adding a downpipe, fmic, injecs, fuel pump, and e85 tune? Under or over 400? Ive been looking at the dyno numbers lately and have been seeing alot of cars with just the fmic downpipe and the rest of my mods in my sig make around 360-370whp.

Here I'll respond with the mfg stated gains

downpipe = 12whp
fmic = none , it just stopping heatsoak , if any maybe 10whp.
Injectors = none
fuel pump = none
e85 tune = could get you close to 400whp

yet again the numbers above are all conjecture since whenever you dyno it will be dependent on the day you dyno , what dyno you are using , etc.

I would not be looking at peak hp gained.. but hp/tq gained through out the curve.

Good luck

Only add an 02 DP, otherwise don't bother. Figure 8-10hp for that, fuel mods nothing, FMIC will just make your HP numbers be more consistent and combat heat soak, as mentioned.

E85 is good for probably 30-40whp on the stock turbo depending on boost. So maybe around 370whp?

Not many X's are breaking 400whp on the stock turbo.

Yeah I heard dps don't do too much but I'm just getting all this right now cuz I plan to go ef2.5 or fp red after I get back from basic.

You're saying that right now you have 335 whp and then you're adding the stated mods to that?
Or you have those mods already and you're wondering if you should have more power than that?

If its option one - those mods should put you over 400.
If its option two - you should have more power than that. It could be the dyno is off or you got a crappy tune.
But I hear the stock turbo wont give you much more than 400 awhp. With those mods plus cams and an FP Green I've seen and driven a GSR pushing 455 to the wheels.

The the hassle of installing a DP on a stock turbo and trying to just get another 30ish whp isn't worth it.

Just do a DP with a turbo upgrade.
