Fmic

When looking into fmic what matters most?

Im really looking for something that will support my current goal of 400whp. Im at 320whp.

I'd like a fmic that requires no cutting to the front bumper but fills it completely. I've got injen intake so it would be nice if the fmic could work on that piping.

I dont wanna spend a ridiculous amount of money. I think $800 is just to damn much for a intercooler. I had cheap $100 on my gst and that had 415ish whp. So I dont really see the need.

Looking for advance thanks guys.

Lots of great options, but ETS is one of the only companies products I will run on my car. Their stuff has the numbers to back it up as well as the customer service. Good luck!

PS: I don't think this thread will be up long since there are plenty of threads discussing FMIC.

dump that injen piping. get a muse licp.

The injen one has an extra unnecessary bend and has a weird reducer.

Front mounts that clear the beam typically are no bigger that 3.5 inches thick

This seems like the best bang for your buck ic out there.

I have a Perrin FMIC with ETS piping.

I've had the ETS 3.5inch and their full piping (painted gloss black) on my car for 2 years. Great quality, no cutting, and still perfect...

I would say anything with a Garrett core being ETS, AMS, Buschur, and a few others would be the way to go. Ebay fmic like you had on your dsm should not be the way to go being sure its a fmic but it is no way efficient and will not do **** for cooling your air charge.
