Drain it, save it for your diffs

The odds of damage are extremely low. If you're the type of person to be paranoid about this sort of thing (and I'm not looking down on you for this, I'm looking straight across at you, because I worry about the silliest things, myself), then wait a month or so and then change the tranny fluid again.

 

to late lol just changed it like an hour ago i couldn't sleep last night just thinking about it was making me go crazy never made this kind of mistake and never will again

 

I'm sorry; I wasn't clear. I assumed that you'd already put the right fluid in. I was responding as if you were worried that just having the wrong stuff in there for a short while would be a problem.

 

at the time u posted i did put the right fluid yesterday before getting home put the wrong one in but its all good now
