Why wouldn't that apply to the MR as well? I mean, unless you have the Navi I would assume you would use the same procedure.. Well, unless you have the FAST key, then you don't have to actually stick the key in.. Besides that, it should be the same..
With the Navi, I'm sure you could just adjust it from there, but not all MRs have it.

The service light has nothing to do with the navi.
