Just about to hit 3,000 Miles

Already getting the maintenance light.

Anyone recommend any other procedures besides an oil change for my 2013 MR?

There aren't that many services needed at 3000 miles. ^^^ what he said. Read the manual. if you really wanted to you could change the cabin air filter. But that's about all for the first few thousand miles. If your made of money you could do a tranny flush to get rid of the "break in" tid bits in the sst. But its not needed. If you go to the dealership for service they will recommend things to you.

Guys, guys guys I'm asking from experienced X owners what things should I keep an eye out for now during the first 3k miles. Obviously I can always get the bare minimum from the OM. There has to be other things some of you know I should be on top of. If you can't think of anything...dont post.

-Rotate tires
-Change oil -SYN OIL
-Check Air Filter / Cabin air filter if you live in a dirty area
-Inspect all fluid levels
-Get your alignment checked if you want to make sure you're not going to burn up your tires
-Have your CV-boots checked for leaks...

.. I think that's it

There really isn't much.. Change the oil, check the fluids I guess, you could ziptie the fpr hose, and check or change the fuel pump relay. There really isn't that much to do at 3k unless you want to do something like change all the drivetrain fluids.. Which there is no need at 3k.

3k on any car, especially newer cars really dont ask for much. You can do all of the above and check your brakes for whatever you feel like but anything that is wrong probably would have showed itself already. Now 30k, that's another matter.
