I need help

So we swapped out for a new Wally and car ran ok to make it home. This morning started having the same damn problems. Try to get on it and can't even go past 5psi car bucks and you hear a loud pop :/ and car makes this shuttering noise like a detonating sound but its like its holding back the car cause as soon as it goes off the car picks up speed. Almost like something is blocking air somewhere and the car is holding back. Then like I said when u try to get on it it struggles and bucks a little then you hear a loud pop. Did a boost leak test and didn't find anything major to cause what's going on. Yes I'm running E85 btw

Why the new pump? What were the symptoms before?

Have you checked your fuel pressure? Any codes?

How long has the e85 been sitting in the car, or how long has the car been sitting idle. Maybe one of your injectors is clogged from old e85

From my understanding the E85 isn't that old, as he's only been on E85 for like a month. Phx isn't known for it's amazing quality fuel, and I'm wondering if the E85 is good, as it's pretty much only used by local AWD turbo cars running it. I think half the soccer mom's with flexfuel GMs don't even realize they can fill up on variants of E around here.

The pump was replaced as a troubleshooting step to the same issue.

The way I understand the issue is anytime he makes 1-5psi it bucks like a fuel delivery problem. At some point he mentioned to me that he saw 20+psi but the car wouldn't pull, which made think think it was fuel/spark. He replaced his plugs (went with OE as suggested).

Like you guys so far, I'm starting to think it's the injectors. I don't know if he bought them used or new, or what brand they are.

The tuner he's using is well versed with E85 and Evo's are his specialty. I'm curious what the tuner did/said myself.

I'm using brand new ID1000s but thinking of switching to FIC1100cv just to see if it changes

can always sent the injectors to get a flow test rather then buy new ones right away.

It may be a good idea to check out the FPR also. Maybe it isnt working properly under load.

Agree on checking the FPR. My stock one failed so that it would not increase above base pressure after I added a surge tank with an inline pump. Fortunately I was paying close attention to my wideband.
