Evo X oil filler cap

quick question - anyone have the thread diameter for the oil filler cap for a 2012 gsr?

have bought 2 now (one from blox, one from mugen) that were the same measurements i found here: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...ing-pitch.html

both didn't fit at all but fit on my a few of my buddy's hondas (which supposedly are the same diamter as mitsu ones)

wondering if anyone knows if they changed the size maybe?

if anyone knows the exact diameter/pitch would be awesome would really like to replace the stock plastic one

thx buds

Screwing metal into plastic isn't the greatest idea; the potential for cracking is definitely there after numerous heat cycles. With that said, I don't have an answer to your question; good luck.

Guess what I just did. Bought another stock oil cap to put back on as my Boomba worked its way off at the track and thankfully it stuck in engine bay even though I was going 120mph. Oil everywhere though and almost wasn't able to drive home for a 30 dollar part. Screw bling, functionality ftw.

Keep stock plastic one. Paint if need be (its already black so who cares) but just keep it.

I've been trying to find the answer to this aswell, but have had no luck. I even made a thread and got no responses, but from research I have found that when the plastic valve cover was added in 2011, the oil filler cap diameter and pitch was changed.

I am working on a custom oil filler cap now, and I would get you the thread pitch but it would be no good as I have a 2008.

Why are you putting Honda Tuning parts on your Evo (Mugen)?
