KIDS - its not worth your life, slow the F down.

We can't possibly know what an individuals life is worth. To some, maybe it is worth it.

And in regards to the too much car not enough driver. I believe even the greatest drivers (F1 of course) crash.

You take the risk of death or serious injury out of the equation and racing, through the canyons or on a track, wouldn't be as much fun. At least to me.

Now if you hurt somebody else in the process, then there is a problem.

Jesus, people crash sometimes. We weren't there, we don't know what happened. Sometimes you push a little too hard. It has happened to the best. I hear this same rhetoric said in YouTube videos of somebody crashing on the track. "Driver sucks"! It happens. There is not one great driver out there that hasn't crashed while learning to be great. Yea, this guy did it on a public street. But they are ok and lived to try again and no innocent people died. . If you have never crashed a car then you are probably slow. Anybody can putt putt around the track driving the car at 60% of its potential but the fastest of the fast drive at 100% and that leaves no room for error. I'm not just referring to this guys situation, I just see this crap talking whenever somebody crashes.

Ok rant done. You may continue.

This is why you don't drive like an idiot on public roads. Save it for the track.

I guess everyone ones got a couple hundred buck to throw down ever time they want to drive faster then the speed limit. Track days are not worth the money you spend. Don't come back with cheaper the wreaking a Car because you can wreak on a track as well.

As long as everyone is ok, that's the most important thing.
The car did its job & everyone is ok.
"My dad has an awesome set of tools, I can fix it bro"
Things happen, even the best driver Effs up.
A 100+ on a twisty road is a little on the insane dept.

You're walking a fine line with our rules against (encouraging/condoning) street-racing. Stay on the correct side of said line, please.

If you can't afford to drive fast legally, get an X-Box.

I may have missed it, but did he get a ticket? How is his insurance going to treat this one too?
Glad everyone walked away from this one; that's whats important.
