Need a bit of advice/knowledge

I have an 08 GSR, full TB exhaust, IC and piping, EBC, intake, and stock motor and drivetrain minus stg1 clutch. Im kicking around the idea of go to e85. Not sure what all I would need to switch over. Im also not sure of the pro/con. I tried searching e85 on here and didnt come up with anything for the Evo X. I was planning upgrading injectors to 1,000cc but if I switch to e85....

Im looking at the power gains to be had by making the switch, but my concerns are losing a ton of MPG. right now with the cc and doing 65 I am hitting between 30-34mpg. With a range of 340-360miles per tank. Im ok with losing a little.

Thanks for the help

Yup, those injectors will do fine and I'd also recommend a new fuel pump. Power gains you should see around 360-390 hp on a dynojet.

MPG will of course go down.

Right now I am at 326hp 330tq, im more or less trying to squeeze extra HP with out adding a pile of parts etc. this is my dd. and the fuel economy im ok with losing a bit as of course it will go down but I was more worried about a drastic change.

In short I have no idea what the pros and cons of e85 are. Just know you can build more power lol

e85 uses more energy per gallon to burn. Expect about a 10-15mpg decrease switching to e85.

e85 lets you push the tune to be more aggressive and let you push an insane amount of torque with the stock turbo. There is a real fine line and you significantly up your chances of blowing the motor up depending on the tune and the final torque numbers.

The better way to say that is that e85 has less energy per gallon when burned.

You only need injectors, nothing else. If you go over 800cc, you might want a new pump. Stock pump flows 240 LPH, so get to at least 300 if you're gonna.

I've been on E85 for years, with a Cobb AP and tune by hollywood_x
Average 22 mpgish, 365 wtq and 360whp, dialed back from the max tho
not a single problem.
