Evo 8 Mpg

Debating on going e-85 or staying pump

I'm getting 200 miles to the tank on average is that common? Not sure if a tune will help raise it a bit.

Goal is to make it 500hp daily but I will be getting a fp black later on the road. But if e-85 is a tad lower on the mpg I will be fine with that

E85 isnt a tad lower its alot lower lol. But however if you are getting 200 out of a tank right now you deff need a tune or check some sensors. unless you are boosting non stop. e85 can get you 150 pushing it 200miles a tank. you should be getting 250-275 now with 93

if your goal is 500whp you shouldn't be worried about mpg. mpg and high HP don't mix

You must be driving it like you stole it... lol...
As stated above, don't count on good mpg and high hp. Especially if you're going down the E85 path...

I get 200 per tank on both 91/e85 and I daily drive my car half freeway half steep hills. I thought my e85 mpg would be much lower but if you don't smash in the gas just because you wanna feel the e85 pull you get about the same and you pay like 15$ less, at least in SoCal

So I guess if I have nothing to lose just run e-85 I'm used to the 200 per tank I thought I could get a little more out of it. I guess I could give it a shot is it hard finding e-85? I will be buying a drum and fill it up, but if I wanted to road trip around should I just get a second map?

Sorry for the questions just interested in this new fuel route

It's usually 100$ more for the second map so if you need to go on a road trip where e85 isn't available you just have to let the gas light turn on on ur car and drive another 20 miles after that then fill up on 91 and switch maps before you turn the car on. Your tuner will tell you how you switch maps for some people you hold the gas others press the cruise control it's pretty simple your tuner will walk you through it. As for gas jugs go on eBay and look up vp racing gas containers they hold 5.5 gallons and you can get a hose for easy pouring. I bought the 4 pack with hoses for 120$ and I just store it at home

I have a few stations online it said there were around 2000 stations it seems common but I don't want to convert over permantlely and there are no place to fill up. It seems the best way to go is pump now and e-85 for race

when i was on 93 in VA i made 365hp, got 29mpg on a 2 hour drive going 65-70mph and staying out of boost.
e85 is known to drop 30% gas mileage right off the bat

I get 20-24mpg on 93, 16-20mpg on e85, the higher of both sets of numbers are highway and the lower of the numbers are city.
