I believe the primary advantage is brake cooling: (a) With the fog-light delete kit, more air is able to get through. (b) When the fog-light delete kit is combined with the Rexpeed brake guides (http://www.rexpeed.net/2012/en/produ....php?serial=98) this air is directed toward the brakes for improved cooling.

Sorry to bump a relatively old thread but pretty much none of those links work anymore, anyone else getting good deals on the OEM delete kit recently? Shopping around, thanks

I'm in the market for a fog delete kit as well. Best I've found so far are these for $160 + shipping:

https://store.worksmotorsports.com/O..._p/485.101.htm

Price is not as desirable considering the previous best option was $105 and have since been discontinued. I've been going back and forth between buying these or trying to diy it with some mesh. It'd be great if someone knows of a good place to buy them for ~$100, but for now that's the best I know of.
