08 Evo X A/C noise!!!!

Need a lil help, i was with my wife driving around last night when my A/C started making this winding noise. i pinpointed it to being somewhere behind or under the glove box. At low speeds its really annoying but if I put it full blast it goes away....was wondering if anyone could please help???

Or maybe your cabin air filter is really clogged and making a whistling/whining noise.

^this, check your cabin air filter first, could be dirty as hell. If not, then odds are it is the blower...

Same thing happens to me once in a while. Happens with the heater and the A/C but mostly only when I have it on Auto and the fan is blowing as high as it can. Also it's usually only when I'm making a turn. I just turn it off and back on and it stops. Been happening for a few years

How many people turn off their AC about a minute before ending a drive (as I do), to clear the condensation before turning off the fan? And is doing so a good thing or an urban legend?

I try to do it if I remember. It keeps it from smelling as bad next time I turn it on.
