Talking out the door pricing isn't exactly apples to apples given varying sales tax etc etc. You really just need to talk vehicle price.

bphx123 stated he paid $36kOTD with $0 down for a new Evo with SS and SL packages.

South Coast Mitsubishi is located in zipcode 92626. You can use the California DMV website to find out the tt&l for that area. However this will vary depending on what state/area you get the vehicle titled at.

https://www.dmv.ca.gov/FeeCalculator...VehicleForm.do

Anyways it will bring tt&l at right about $3k on a $33k car, giving you about $36k OTD. The MSRP on a GSR with SS and SL is about $39k. I heard others say South Coast has pretty good prices, but I didn't think they could take $6k off their cars and still be profitable. Eitherway awesome pricing.

I agree, 36k OTD, including tax, title and licence, taking 6k off a niche car is incredibly hard to believe. Especially with a CA documenting fee of $795.

Dealers like RC Hill and South Coast are know to advertise amazing prices. This is how they do that. Read the fine print, it will say it includes discounts for active military, recent graduate, Mitsubishi owner loyalty, and "includes $3500 trade equity." Some states (like Minnesota for example) are legally prohibited from advertising like that. They also don't include the destination charge or the $795 documentation fee. Each state sets the maximum doc fee. Every dealer in the state then charges exactly the max! In California its $795. In Minnesota its $75.

No one on this forum from either dealer will dispute me in this because they know its true.

Now, if someone paid 36k for SS + SL before they add back in all that stuff then I might believe that.

This man speaks the truth. I personally know him. His dealership actually caters to Evo owners. They are very trustworthy. If Trogdor says that the car is in great shape, then it is gospel. Besides, most of the Evos in Minnesota are known by the community. We have our own Evo website and generally, someone on the site is familiar with the Evos around here.

I wonder if my Evo came from your dealership Trogdor? I bought a 2013 WW GSR SSSL and ext pkg from Schaumburg Mitsu about a month ago. There was a delay in delivery since it was snowing hard in Minnesota and it was being brought from there. Paid $38,xxx before taxes, etc

Took the day off of work and picked it up Friday. Great experience overall at White Bear Mit in MN. It was refreshing considering the pain initially with many of the local dealerships.

Its been four years since my last evo (a 2004 evo 8) and they have come a long way. Love the car!

Nope, we haven't dealer traded any of ours away. We sell every last one we have.
