Please check and make sure that everything sounds normal obviously some noises are louder since I'm holding the phone 3in from stuff. I'm maint concerned first vid there is a slight knock right at the split second you give it has then goes away

Ok update better explained the exact noise I'm talking about can be heard in this 3rd Third video when I'm taking off from the stop sign you can hear the knocking sound I'm talking about in the first five seconds or so. I also found out that or realized I should say that it only makes the sound when I'm giving the car throttle if I let off the gas even though the RPMs are still up the sound can't be heard.

First video.... Sounds like a misfire more than a knock. Sounds like one spark miss and the fuel hit the cat making a quick "sissling" sound.

Since it was right on the tip in this could very well be tune related as well. First check the physical health of the car then if that's good check out the tune.

Then I watched the second and third video...... Now I'm really not liking the engine sound in video 2. I know Evo's are loud when running and that's not my concern (you've captured great audio) but right around 15 seconds to the end of video #2, it sounds like something metallic may be moving around in there. It goes from just sounding loud, to sounding kinda raspy like something is loose or out of tolerance.... Are you burning oil or seeing smoke?

That explains the occasional miss or blow-by if you have something like a cracked piston or perhaps a
partial spark plug failure where a piece of the electrode broke off but the plug still fires.

Video 1 seems like a minor spark miss or tune issue. Video 2 has me thinking you need a compression check after you pull your plugs and make sure no debris is in your cylinders and the pistons aren't cracked. Video 3 didn't help at all...

Of course others need to weigh in as many here are more skilled than I.

 

I think the ticking noise is video two is actually injectors pulsing. My X does the same thing.

However i do not hear the knocking noise at all in vid 3 or anything out of the normal on vid 1

 

Yeah the loud ticking is normal, the rasp is what bothered me. I too do not hear anything at all in vid 3. The sound I heard in video 1 was not a direct knock or thud. But rather a quick "shh". Kinda like the sound of a high-hat on a drumset. That sounds like fuel hitting a hot pipe or cat. Fuel that wasn't ignited by the spark.

 

Plugs are 30,000 guy said, so I'm guessing one is weak lol here goes 50$

 

The car at runs great I haven't went over 5000rpm yet as my AEM will be installed tonight ! Then we shall see some afr readings! Their is some kind of tune on it the rev limit has been moved to 6500 and te cel for the rear o2 has been removed ( I'm guessing this bc the o2 is in a normal position with a straight 3" tsudo tbe)

 

I would start by checking spark plugs as mentioned before as well.
