Mod recommendations for a brand new MR

I made a post and I noticed that this section gets more views than evo x engines and etc... I need some assistance deciding what mods to place on my car. Please take a look at the topic listedhere, I would appreciate some feedback.

Best regards

you have gotten good recommendations for things within your budget. not really sure why you are bumping the thread after 12 hours. did you not like the answers?

Figured maybe there's something else, just thought there would be more items on the list. Guess not...

There is always more that can be done... But usually when I first buy a car I get used to it first before completely revamping the drivetrain. The mods suggested are simple and I'm sure will be satisfactory for the time being.

I pretty much agree with everyone else. For the amount of money you have to spend I would get a tune and possible intake and/or CBE. I'm not sure how much your tune is going to cost. I would get the CBE before anything only because I like hearing the exhaust.

Thanks guys. Figured I would go with a drop in filter (cosworth), mbc (perrin), tune (road race engineering) and possibly a wge (forge or hks)

let RRE help you with the proper boost controller. In fact I'd just go there and do whatever they say, let them set you up. The tune is related to parts, so if you can get their input during the process it's a great way to go.

For the MR/SST transmissions, SSP is pretty much the boss. They make all sorts of filters and SST upgrades if you want to add power.

I thought of one more. I absolutely love my short throw shifter. it's not a go fast part but it is definitely one of the best things I've done to my evo so far

Goodbye Warranty, don't go crazy with your mods on your brand new X and screw up your tranny within 10K miles...
