Device which will pass emission test?

Hello, I'm interested in a ODB2 simulator which allows someone with a standalone ECU to pass an OBD2 emissions test.

I'm from Chicago, IL. I know these were on the market a few years ago and now they're very hard to find.

If anyone knows anything, please let me know. Thanks!

Which stand-alone? Many stand-alones either don't use the OBD port or can simulate any output you wish.

(Note: a "stand-alone" means that you are not using the OE engine ECU.)

I used http://www.bigdaddiesgarage.com/mini-cat-cel-fix.html which is a small adapter with cat material inside. Works well.

Iowa is right... Most electronic cel fix's are illegal to sell from what i understand. But most of the major ecu's can be tricked into passing tests.
