Questions about Rexpeed Test Pipe...

I can't find any pics of the O2 sensor bung. Does anyone know if it's extended out from the pipe so it doesn't throw a check engine light?

...Also, does it come with 1 or 2 bungs?

Thanks!

It has 2 bungs which don't appear to be extended. A rear 02 defouler would be recommended.

Thanks... Lol. I looked right over that. I checked like 3 sites, and somehow missed that.

Those non-foulers don't really work that well on the X anyway, just disable the code within the ECU (ECUFlash or AccessPort).

Yeah, a Cobb AP or a good tuner can get rid of that code.

Test pipe should have two bungs. One on top for the front O2 and one on the side for the rear O2. The rear you can add the O2 sensor spacer to try to avoid the CEL. I have been told that it works maybe 80% of the time. Some cars will throw a code no matter what. The Cobb AP can take care of that.

The front O2 is on the downpipe/O2 housing right after the turbo, not the stock cat. It doesn't go into a test pipe if you have one. The second O2 bung in a test pipe is for an additional O2 sensor for a wideband.

Ha, thanks for catching that mirkendargen. I forgot, my test pipe is from Invidia. It actually replaces the cat and the down pipe. 3 bungs for both O2 sensors and the wide band. My mistake.
