The recall is now up on the NHTSA site, search by vehicle (no direct link that I could find).

Here is a link to the Recall Acknowledgement letter PDF

damn I had ordered the magnus kitwith the evo 9 cmc and just received it now I wonder if I should install this one anyway or get my car towed to the local dealer and have them fix my cmc

I did see someone post about maybe there being reimbursements for those who had to fix it out of pocket before the recall any truth to that?

MERGED

(This really did not merit a new thread, especially when the existing one was at the top of the current list.)

We have a recall on the cmc in Sweden too and i have my change out to day on my PB Evo X build late 2011. I did not see it myself before they mounted the cmc but the tech said it is still plastic but it looked a little different to the one fitted before. He loosened it from inside the car and got unscrew the fusebox and the complete clutchpedalrack with cmc. Excuse my bad english.

I have 40k on my stock clutch and am running E. What are the chances I can say my clutch wore from the recalled part?

does this mean that upgraded clutches won't need a new CMC too? you can just run the new recall one?

It's about time they get rid of the plastic junk . Just suck for the people who paid out of pocket to already fix the issue

Wow thanks for the link! I was wondering this very thing I was shocked at first when I thought they are going to exclude Canadian models.

I also have a November '07 produced '08 X; how would our CMC's be different that the recall starts from Dec. 12th '07 production? Anyone have any ideas?
