I don't know the SST that well, but my guess is that the OP's problem is that he's in Arabia. Given the location of the tranny cooler, sitting still means no air-flow, so he's just overheating the unit.
This is right. I had the same thing happen to me when I had my MR. The tranny is too hot to launch because the stock tranny cooler sucks. And this happened in the northeastern US.

I think a big culprit is the oem fluid change interval.
If tranny / diff oils are to be changed during the 1st 5k of driving, it would help if the dealer knew that detail.
I also got overheat message on my 3rd launch, it wasn't hot so I'll say it's the fluids.
Ill change them out next week & I told the op he needs an oil cooler. Any motor especially boosted in desert heat.,

I am going to assume OP, that you were not doing anything like putting it into N and revving up to 5K and then trying to dump it into D to create your own homebrewed launch because you could not get the OEM launch control to work.
Mani of course not bro....I put it in D then s sport mode then hit the ASC for over 3 secs, hit the brakes got the revs to 5k as soon as I leave the brake it doesn't launch the car it just over revs then I get the msg.......I think my clutch packs are done.....

Yea believe it or not I was driving normally once I got to the traffic light I stopped put it in n then got trans overheating when I put it back in d once the traffic went green there was no gear selected it didn't move even though it was in d.....my mut diagnosis tool will be here soon and I will find out what's up I just hope that I don't have that stupid p1808 tcu failure problem.....I think it's my clutches to be honest they are probably worn out.......
