Hey guys, just moved to the Rockville area and I'm trying to get through MD State inspections. I went to a gas station inspection station down the street first with my wife's brand new Lexus to butter them up and then with the Evo. They couldn't get my Evo on lift because I lowered it with springs and the extra front splitter on the car. They told me straight out the car would not pass because the suspension had been modified. They threw in there that they wouldn't waste my money to see why else it wouldn't pass. My previous registration is due up in December, I'm leaving for China tomorrow for 6 weeks. Anyone have a recommendation where to go for a miracle?

 

register it to a PO box in VA, I did that to avoid any issues.

 

But don't you then have to pay annual VA vehicle tax?

 

go to family auto in frederick md.. they passed my evo in the first pass, as is... no fuss no drama!

and I am lowered too on H&R springs.. dont have a cat, instead a resonated test pipe.
