Graphite Grey for the win!!!

My second color choices would be Cosmic Blue and Mercury Gray.

Just noticed this. Are you referring to all Evo years, or just the X? They didn't make the X in yellow. Did they in Canada?

I think some of it has to do with all of the black accents on the front end as well. Some colors like grey white and silver just do better matched against a mostly black front end with the grill being so large.

I agree with you on that. Black cars usually look good, but I think the best part of the X is the large black front grille area. The grey/silver/white Evo's do a better job of enhancing the look of the grille. Black Evo's seem more "muted" because there is no contrast around the exterior of the vehicle.

Go for a vinyl wrap. It will protect the paint and if you ever decide to sell the car, it won't take a hit in value because of the repaint.

i find black evos look best in person the grill areas and accents really are visible more, pictures do no justice. My red evo looks "skinnier" and for some reason people always say my black one looks beefier haha idk I think black still looks best. You really have to see it in person to get the best of it, it still is my fav. Evo colour by far

From the pictures I saw on this forum I agree with you both. Those colors really work well with that big grill in the front, which is one of my favorite parts about the Evo X. Having said that, I saw the Phantom Black at the dealer, and it looks much better in person. I'm getting the cosmic blue and can't wait to see how that looks in person.

I haven't seen any Evo X's in my city. I'm guessing I'll probably start noticing more when I get mine. I have seen the Evo IX a few times.

interestingly enough, the big grill seems to have caught on more than any other styling cue of the evo. The GTR does it, Mitsu copied it for the rest of their product line, and even the new wrx/sti uses it. With car manufacturers limited on their interpretation of how they can style a front end because of pedestrian safety laws it really is the best solution out there.

Wish I could've found an Apex Silver Since that's what I was used too with my Gts, however I was looking for new and I'm not a fan of the metallic grey so I settled on PB. However I still couldn't be more happier

WW and OB are my favorite colors. The EVO looks good in every color though honestly. I do not like red cars in general, but I'd own a red EVO. Cosmic blue is by far my least favorite. Not a fan at all.
