My car just hit 44k today and the steering felt quite a bit harder to turn and whatnot. I checked the fluid it's practically full. Does it need to be replaced or is there a fuse that might be blown? Just wondering what all it could be, I checked my tires also and they are at normal pressure.

 

Is there any whining to the pump when you turn the wheel?

 

Nah it sounds normal. I am still under 60k would this be covered under warranty depending on if its drivetrain??

 

also i just cranked it up today to check again and it felt normal for the first 30 seconds i took off, after that it tightned back up again...its not super terrible but it just doesn't feel right like it did before

 

Well idk my steering is the same way but it's not too stiff but it should be under warranty
