help: Evo X Straight Pipe Exhaust

Been looking up videos on youtube of evo's w straight pipe exhaust and it seems to sound like every other exhaust( mac truck lol) just louder. how exactly is this done? is it just run from the down pipe back? will you lose back pressure/power? im not sure which direction to take with an exhaust because there are so many of them. Whats the best way to go? im looking for something really loud thanks!

I have invidia n1. Pretty loud. I know the ets extreme is very loud. I feel like a straight pipe is just tacky.

One of my very good friends had a custom 1 off Exhaust done on her Evo X. Full 3" mandrel bent with v-bands front to back.

That thing sounded like nothing I've ever heard of on Evo X but was retarded loud!

Umm, we race with a straight pipe. It's light and breathes extremely well. It is, however, at, 7500 rpm in 5th gear on the front straight at Thunderbolt, ummm, loud.

Don't try this at home.

You won't be disappointed. It's loud enough, I can't imagine having a v2 extreme. It'll be deafening.

So I run the ets v2 extreme. **** is loud sets my neighbors car alarm off some times in the morning. I laugh about it. I love running it but I also have the ets v2 quiet rear section and can change to it in 5 min. Night and day diff in sound.

I've been pulled over a few times with the extreme on and they have never said anything about how loud it was. All Texas cops tho.

I'd say go for it.
Rest of my setup includes downpipe and test pipe.
I really love the option of being a dick with the extreme or the tame note from the quiet.

I love how my AMS sounds, both idling and WOT.

The ETS o2 dump is pretty neat.
