Just glad this community has good EVO gurus that can help all of us out...

As a general rule, stock turbo cars will always pick up power with an aftermarket CB and tune...stock CB can be very restrictive..

very good response-

we've had to test and test and test- to make things right- i had 8-9 different turbos on our X lol

Yeah I can't wait to head there next Saturday! Sucks because my exhaust system was suppose to all come in Wednesday, but the snow storms we got nailed with have pushed the UPS delivery back until next Tuesday. I hope I can get it all installed before I head over there for the tune.

Dammit I am so pissed. Yesterday I was suppose to get my Cobb intercooler hard pipe kit, and UPS boned me again by not delivering it (it has been pushed back everyday since its original delivery date of Wednesday). Was hoping to at least get to put that on this weekend.

your in socal, what shops are you talking about, because if that would be the only option for me unless I can get them dealer installed.

TBH, I dunno why HIDS are so important to me:they just are
anyone running the halogens on their evoX? are they really bad, or look bad?
Yes to do it yourself you'd have to bake the headlights, remove the lense, position the projectors in and all of that.
On the top of my head I cannot think of the shops that I called but they were recommended from the person I was contacting through theretrofitsource website.
So everything total would run you about 600 if you buy the kit and bring it to them. I think oem HID's are quite expensive, if I remember correctly I read somewhere on the forums that other members have been quoted 2500 for the headlight conversion.
I had halogens on my X and it was alright but HIDs are so much cleaner and nicer looking lol.
