Bad Transfercase and Bad rear Differential... What are my options?

Bad Transfercase and Bad rear Differential... What are my options?
Rear differential housing has a hairline crack from front to back. Transfer case is donzo. It's an 08' Evo x 44,000 miles.
Should I have the parts rebuilt (can the cracked housing be welded or do I have to buy a new rear diff), buy used (Should I trust used parts? I usually don't), or buy new ($8,000 down the toilet)? Are there any aftermarket options?
