turbo and cams or clutch
Looks like your kind of all over the place here.
1) the clutch in the X is the weak link. Many folks dont even keep one in for 10k on an unmodified car before is slips and needs to be replaced.
2) as others have said you need to figure out what you want and the cost, That turbo while a great choice for some is going to be huge for a street car and have power way up in the rpm band instead of where you usually drive-- if you want that great.
3) you need to pick a cam that matches the turbo power band. So the S1 while again a great cam builds power down low and your turbo selection builds power up high and while that sounds like a transition they dont work together. The S2 would get you closer but in my view you need a smaller turbo.
4) if your spending all you have on these mods, better get to work on saving more cause running 450-500hp on a stock bottom end--well regardless of tune may very well be the ticket to a rebuild. Others will disagree, if you have time and a lot of spare cash do what you will.
5) spend some time working thru some of the issues mentioned in the thread and you will save time and money and do it right the first time--again as others have said talk with your tuner and you will be happier in the end. GL
