Has anyone had problems with the fitment of their APR front lip?, I had got one of there carbon fibre lips and it had a good size gap on the drivers side. I contacted the shop I ordered it from and they called APR and after talking to them about not getting me to pay for shipping for a new lip that would fit properly(why would I have to pay for shipping if they just sent me a lip that fit good in the 1st place). So after they finally send me the lip and I send the defective lip back to them(which cost me $150bucks), then they say they are not going to refund my money( I went ahead and ordered another first) because it has the 3mm Paint defender kit on it, which is like plastic film that can be peeled off or removed with nail polish remover. Never had some many problems with any other companies, very frustrated. So in the end this is how they treat customers when they are the one who sent out a defective product? We'll just just talk to THmotorsports which has been the best so far and they are gonna contact APR again. Hope for the best .............thanks for listening the my frustration

I've been having some RMA issues with APR as well. I'd rather not bad mouth any company on the forums. If you'd like to know the story shoot me a PM.

How you gonna return something after you used it tho

 

I didn't use the lip yet. I had sprayed the 3m paint defender film on, to protect the lip and when I installed it, I realized it didn't fit properly so then I removed the lip. I contacted THM and informed them of the problem with fitment and that I had sprayed on the 3m film. They contacted APR and said it would be ok to return the lip with the 3m film as long as I haven't used the lip on my car. After shipping back the lip, now APR is saying that they wont accept the return cuz it's clear coat paint (which it isn't). So THM is going to ship the lip back (which will cost them money, when it's not their fault either) and I am going to remove the film which is easy to peel or rub off if u use a little nail polish remover and a cotton ball. I would've removed the film if APR hadn't said that it would be ok to return the lip with the film on. Throughout this mess, THM has been awesome in helping me deal with this return. I would definitely recommend them to anyone. Their customer service is top notch.

Just wanted to let everyone know, I'm not trying to bad mouth APR. I just wanted to know if others have had issues with the lip or with APR themselves cause I'm wondering if it's just me or if this is a common issue with APR.

 

I had fitment issue with bnib apr lip. Quality was poor and fitment was horrible. That was my 2nd apr lip 1st one from bavk when they did quality product was 100% fit

 

I choose apr because I heard they had very good fitment. The second lip they sent me was about 8.5 out of 10. Now I'm waiting for THmotorsports to send me the lip so I can take off the 3mm spray film for apr and then send it back to them, then they said they would refund my money..............hope this is over soon.
