Can someone tell me how the ETS Cold Air Intake is safe to use without a tune but most other intakes are not? because im really debating getting an ETS intake because it doesnt require a tune but I dont see how its somehow safe?

 

It's not a CAI, but you can run it w/o a tune because it uses the OE MAF Housing.

K&N inkake may be run with out tune as well

 

You can run it without a tune, but i beleive you throw a code because of how much air is being sucked in. To really maximize it's potential, it is better if you get tuned for it. I gained about 40wht 30awhp from that along with a 4.0 fmic and piping.

 

with a tune? mine next step will be intercooler, alreay have uicp and licp with intake, no code and runs good..for now:-)
