Any of you evo X guys running meth with stock turbo? I wanna see some results if possible, I don't hear of anyone running meth................thx

 

Nope. Smart folks do one of two things when running meth in an Evo X. You either get a larger turbo and outrun them on the streets, or you take the car with the rally suspension and lose them on a back road. Cops around here have 5-liter GMs or Fords (with radios to call ahead for help). A stock-turbo Evo X on a street suspension is not the best way to run meth, even if just over to Des Moines.

Subd. I've been wondering the same thing. How does it effect reliability?

 

I hear of a lot of STI's running meth, but no evo X's. Since it helps let you run more timing and boost how come no one has tried it? I have a brand new AEM one gallon kit that I won in a bet and am debating about adding it to my stock turbo(26psi)with full bolt ons to see what it can do or is it even recommended for our cars.

Since most people can run e85 I think most don't run meth.

 

My relatively-ignorant (and, therefore, over-priced) $.02 on this is that DSMs and Scoobies get more from meth and/or water injection because they don't come with front-mount intercoolers. If you have a good intercooler, there are better ways to go about getting more power than injecting stuff other than primary fuel.

Please note that I did say that this is probably worth less than $.02.
