I think that is exaggerated. It's probably same situation with GT-R initial warranties.

ok if you think the 4g63 made evo1-9 unique you sadly mistaken, the engine been in well over 20 platforms from truck all way to sedans, yes 4g63 was use in Hyundai cars way before the genesis was even thought of lol. but i will agree with you the style is to similar to the regular lancer. but call the x not a evo that blasphemy

you know you cant do a straight conversion like that and come up with a price lol, granted, if i was sold there is would be in the around 55-60k, uk and us price are nearly 1:1 ratio when they you comparing, money conversion don't play a role, if it did uk version gtr would cost about 160k usd

It is an interesting reason to not be a "real" Evo.

It would be like saying the R35 isnt a real GTR, because it doesnt have an RB26 in it.

Or for that matter, an R32, 33 or 34 isnt a real GTR because it doesnt have an S20 in it.


Lots of cars loose their Mad Japanese rawness as times change. Look at Type R Hondas.. they got more powerful, but softer and less harsh. And now they are going Turbo. Blasphemy! lol

you guys dont gotta get butt-hurt cuz of my opinion lol, we all have different opinions on cars all im sayin is that its kinda messed up that the regular lancer and the genesis share the same engine as the evo...thats all, thats why the value of evo 8 and 9 are almost at the same sometimes higher than the 10

Open deck genesis engine vs closed deck evo 4b11? Similar. Not the same. Always thought I wouldn't mind the genesis, then I remember that it's still a Hyundai. Lmao. But still. Genesis>G37 IMO. It's a little slower. But 4 cyl turbo vs v6 is why I'd pick the genesis. Lol.

Camero vs camero SS vs camero LT1 vs camero Z28. Up the horses and suspension, up the price.

I like Evo X MR, but this is only 440hp at the crank. You're justing buying a 440 MR badge w/ 40th anniversary title - with no warranty.

The extra 10k on the price rage doesn't justify the power. If your dead set on an evo X just buy a MR and spend 10k in mods. BAM faster, personalized, and better quality evo X

You have a solid 30K extra off the sticker price, could easily make everything so much better than 440BHP. You could have a fully built motor and tranny running a FP black or something pushing 450+WHP on a conservative tune.

Awesome care. Suffers from what was the reason the SupraTT/300ZXTT/RX-7, etc died. Priced way outside its market.

82k? Unless cars are just retarded expensive where its sold and its still in M3/STi/IS-F range I don't see why anyone would buy it.

A 82k factory Mitsubishi....i just threw up a little.
