I know that is the way most cars are, and my car is the 1st time I ever heard of it happening, but only just going in and checking the box to disable the rear O2 and not changing anything else makes my A/F ratio go crazy rich at idle/cruise. When we re-enable the rear O2 A/F ratio goes back to normal.

Yes, I had the EXACT SAME ISSUE. Have a shop fab a new spacer. It needs to be in the shape of a j with a bend in it. It was the only way to correct the problem. Mine in a 12, but it's same set up.

Ah! This one i know....

bank 1 sensor 2 O2 reads to[sic] lean

It is the second o2 sensor. I have the mini cat adapter. I only started getting the SES when cold weather hit the area and until Spring came!

Check for exhaust leak between dp and test pipe.

There is a 3" to 2.5" adapter that looks like it should help me.

It really only triggers after the car has been driven in cold weather and then warm It senses the change in last drive and the current drive to trigger the SES.

Maybe, but if you make the fouler in a j shape.
Problem solved.
You may not like the exhaust, me personally I am extremly happy with end product . It's just the factory o2 sensor is really on when it comes to exhaust.

Disabling the rear 02 will not pass emissions , so that's why I had to get mind sorted out.

In the end very simple solution.

If there is no leak; take out the bung and get it tuned. That should take care of it...I'm pretty sure.

Tune isn't the issue, mine was a pro tuned had exact same issue. It's the stock 02 is super sensitive. We tried to turn off the rear 02 & the ses light came back on within a few hundred miles. We did the bung replacement & it's been fine since then.

I had a smog about 3 weeks ago. I put the oem pipe back. I notice one of the nut/bolt was a little loose. After the smog I put the test pipe back and made sure everything was torqued down and haven't had a cel yet. I don't know it's the readjusting the pipe or the o2 sensor could have done it.

I'm hoping you can help me. My Service Engine Soon light came on after 50 or so miles of driving with catless straight pipes so I put 2 defoulers on my rear 02 sensor (one drilled out to make room for the 02 sensor, another regular on on top), removed negative battery terminal, and drove without the SES light for about 50 miles and it came back on. Code is P0140. How would I know if the sensor was bad? Should i take one off and do a single drilled out spark plug non fouler?
