Veil laser coating - who has used it?
Veil laser coating - who has used it?
I searched and found a few hits about Veil, but most were from 7-9 years ago when that stuff first came out. Has anyone used it for long periods of time, like maybe you're still using it now?
I'm wondering how often it has to be reapplied, and does it penetrate into the headlight plastic like some of the reviews I've read indicate?
Lastly, the reviews say it's capable of jamming-to-gun. Anyone with experience on that? Since it's not an active laser jammer that you can turn off, it seems the driver is at risk of being pulled over because they jammed-to-gun. Can you just tell the officer that you have Veil (since it's not illegal), and will that get you off the hook?
I'm not looking for a radar detector debate, nor suggestions on laser jammers. Just want to know who has used Veil, and better yet experiences over several years of use. Thanks!

Most people on this site have no clue about what laser veil is , try
http://www.rdforum.org/forum.php here. These are the experts for yours question,
but honestly I don't think laser veil will work with any kind of new laser equipment out.
Plus you risk ruining your headlight because sometimes they will bond with the lens and crack then you are just screwed. I suggest you apply them on aftermakret cheap depo headlights, definitely don't do on stock HID light.
Laser Veil has ruined lot of AUdi head lights, they look easy to apply but removing them isnt that easy.
Even laser veil inventor him self is still unsure which material of the headlight is not compatiable with, I know they ruined lot of Luxury cars headlight like AUDI Benz. Most people who use veil have cheap cars like KIA HONDA and Mazda beater so they don't care if that stuff can never be removed from headlight.

^ Thanks for your reply and that link. There's lots of info there to digest. I just got my first laser ticket after running a V1 for 9 years and need better technology.
