SST cooling Greddy vs. SSP

Hey guys, I've been looking all over forums found many threads, so far i heard SSP was the best bang for the buck; however, i can get the Greddy SST oil cooler kit for 700 (compared to SSP $1100) Ive seen a few happy with their SSP, but i haven't seen many talking about the Greddy. Greddy has test results on their site but SSP seemed to have not have them. If anyone has an idea, knows someone, or uses the Greddy cooler, how was your experience? I RallyX my car and you guys can just imagine how much i rape the tranny (it sucks having "slowdown" appear while you're about to finish the lap).
Anyways your answers will be appreciated! if there are other threads, please link them below so that i can check them out!

That's an insane deal. I wonder if anyone has back to back comparisons between the two.

I know right? $700 is great! If the Greddy was the old price id probably go SSP but since its more than 50% off i was wondering if i should just get the Greddy; however, i don't want to spend the $700 and still get that warning

As I understand it, both will do the trick well.

Since SSP owned the market in SST cooling, they can set a high price/profit margin and few will complain. Now here comes Greddy charging around 50% less with less profit margin(i believe) for the same thing. I would love to see a side by side comparison, though I would image the difference between the two are minute.

If im correct the Greddy just replaces the factory cooler thats it. SSP uses the factory one also on top of adding an additional cooler that has a fan that can be switched. So you can turn the fan on when your idle waiting for the next session. The additional cooler also goes in the grill behind the diamonds more direct flow. For me that is worth the $1100 and those that have the SSP ive yet to hear of anymore slow down warnings. I still hear people getting them with the Greddy and AMS.

That is incorrect. Greddy ADDS an additional cooler that sits in a V configuration with the stock cooler as well as a fluid pump. http://greddy.com/featured/9I I just ordered one for my personal car. Can't go wrong at that price.

I didnt know Greddy made an SST cooler. That's a great price.
It looks kind of odd in that the additional cooler feeds from where the drain plug would be and returns where the fill plug would be.

The SSP cooler daisy chains onto the OEM cooler, but the SSP cooler itself is front-mounted on top of the front bumper beam.

Kozmic was pimping this cooler from Dodson the other day. It's a unique design from everything else I have seen but I like it and doubles as a replacement pan. It's more expensive but since it's doing double duty as a pan it's actually pretty reasonable.

It adds a loop to your engine cooling system running coolant through an internal rad in the pan. It serves as both a heater and a cooler keeping your trans at ideal temp at all times. This does however mean more strain on your existing cooling system and if heat generation is already an issue for you then I can't recommend this one. Personally I am going to upgrade my radiator and fans at the same time when i am ready to take this plunge.

Actually, the SSP kit is just like the greddy and has a new feed/return with a pump.

The only kit I know that daisy chains the oem was an old HKS kit, I dont think they make it anymore. AMS Replaces the oem with a setrab core and adds a fan to it.
