You are also saving it under a different name that you didn't know about.. called Mio.xml. Make sure you are editing and saving the right one. Send me your Mio.xml template, and your datasettings xml file for your vehicle and I will check again.

Yep I saved the layout, and re-opened it.. the values still show perfectly as before. I am using the same vehicle datasettings.xml each time. You can see it here, I opened it again after saving and closing evoscan.

ok, I'll close this issue as resolved. It works perfectly during all my tests. send me an email with screenshots if you see anything that needs attention.

Cheers,
Hamish.

Dear Hamish,
thanks a lot for your help!I was really busy during this period so I couldn't read/reply as I should.
I'll test your solution as soon as possible.
I noticed that the problem (can we say "unsaved changes"?!?) affects also the name of the gauges inside the menu. "SST temp" was at the beginning "Battery voltage". I see the right name in the layout but inside the edit menu is always called "battery".
I can modify it in the same way as for scales settings?

Thanks again

I'd like to thank Hamish because now I can have my Evoscan working as I like!
He did a great job and also provided me a patch to help me see what and where I'm saving my layout.
This time I can't complain at all about the customer service because he did what it takes to get all properly working and by that, I'm not saying there was some sort of bug but that I wasn't able to make it work as I want to.

Hi guys,
after my enthusiasm of having Evoscan working properly, I've bought Evodroid7 but I need some help. This time Evoscan support isn't as fast as my desire to have it working right.
I need to use my layout (see on top) in Evodroid but seems quite difficult?
Any idea that could help me?
Thanks a lot.
