Thoughts on buying this evo?

The only bad thing i see right now the 80k miles that are on it. It's in sacramento ca and im in tennessee so i wont be able to test drive it.

Is it priced well compared to other comparable cars (remember mods don't really raise resale value by much). Does it have service receipts (especially for the 60k)? Will the dealer offer any kind of warranty?
If the answer is "no" to any of the above, then I would recommend against buying a car without seeing/driving it first. If you think its the right car, its worth a plane ticket to fly out and be sure.

I would not pay $24k for a car with 80xxx miles on it. Just my personal opinion, but I'm sure you can find a better deal for a few more thousand. I got mine for $27k with 21xxx miles on it, but deals like that are hard to find.
That doesn't appear to have a body kit to me. Just the oem aero kit. I also don't see anything but the oem rear diffuser.
I can't believe it was sold with the advan wheels. Those are worth $$$$ even used assuming they aren't in bad condition or all beat up. I'd ask for detailed pics of each wheel.
Also find out what rotors are on the car.
I think if this is what you were wanting in a car then it would be a good pick up. Seems to be tastefully modified. I would though expect some headaches and some added costs after you get the car.
I would make the dealership take the car to someplace for an independent compression/leak down test that you arrange. This will give you a good indication of motor health. Also have that place check the suspension and under the car for any body or frame damage while they are at it. It might cost you ~$200 to have them do all that, but worth it.
Make sure you pay for and have the car fax and the other auto reporting agency report whose name i can't think of off the top of my head. They both provide you some protection in the event it was in a major accident.
If you get all that done, then I'd feel comfortable buying that car. $24k seems a bit high with 80k miles, but also not a bad deal with all the mods. If you can get them down to $22k I think it would be a great deal.
But be prepared for some costly service issues. That car has been heavily modified and will cost money to keep it going. If you don't have several thousand laying around that you could dump on the car if needed then I wouldn't do this deal.
I'd also get the car tuned by someone when you get it before driving it hard.

There are a lot of replica advans floating around out there. Seems unlikely the last owner would have let it go with authentic advan wheels on it.

Buying a car done is not as fun and most of tge time depreciate a car if not it shouldt add value except for expensice wheels imo. Also buying a car like this all modded from a dealer you cant get a sence of previous owners and how the car was driven during its 80k mil life.
80k miles and has hella mods. DONT BUY IT. as the person above said, you have no idea whats been done those 80 miles. Launches, track days, canyon runs, street racing, freeway racing etc. Those are all find and dandy to do but when you do them yourself.
Its a trap really. So many things could be close to breaking. Clutch, transfer case, etc etc. Take the advice from someone who's bought a used evo before and had to spend $3k 2 months later because the tranny went bye bye. I'd never do it again. And if I did, it would have to have less than 20K miles on it. In your case its 80k, no way jose!

You should consider buying a new 2014 X. They are already taking orders for 2015s so there should be some deals on year end 2014 models soon. I bet you can get a base model GSR X for close to 30k. Plus, your interest rates on a new car will be much better, so your monthly payment should be about the same. Give Sam at South Coast Mitsubishi a try.
"Production of North American-specification Lancer Evolution models for the 2015 model year will commence in July 2014, with deliveries sometime later this year...
We do know for sure that the 2015 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution performance car will be starting production in July and will be in the U.S. in its current form one more year."
