CMC Recall finally done! review
Ahh interesting. If you throw a new map from Cobb on your car though that would overwrite it?
Correction, they updated the ECU and did the CMC. Clutch engagement is a lot earlier and I feel more torque in the car. The latter is probably because I was driving an extremely slow Buick for a day...
Ah yes, the joys of having your Mitsubishi serviced by a Buick dealership that couldn't care less about Mitsubishi.
For those outside the metro-Detroit area: when you walk into our Mitsu dealership you find a completely abandoned showroom. Lights off. No sales people. No receptionist. No service staff. Just crickets. You wander over to the only desk in the showroom to find a permanent sign that says, "Sorry we missed you. Please visit Xxx Xxxxx Buick next door."
It's a very comforting experience. *sarcasm*
They did loan me very stinky Regal for the day. And I had to chuckle when EVERY head in the service dept. turned as soon as I pulled into the garage. "OMG what do you have done to that?" "How much boost are you making?" "How fast is it?" To which I gave my standard reply, "it makes full power and goes top speed."

Did mine last december and it was smooth like buter but now I'm starting to use more leg power when pressing the clutch... It also feels like it's rubing against something when I press/release it slowly... Do I need to change some fluid(s)? Stock evo with 22k miles and never changed tranny/clutch fluid btw
Guys I just got this recall done yesterday and everything felt fine. The clutch engaged much lower off the ground than before. However now I have a problem! When the car is idle it sputters and the rpms hover up and down from 500 to 750 rpm. It shakes like it's about to stall.! Whether it's in neutral or the clutch pushed in its constantly just going vroom vroom vroom. Also service engine light came on
anyone have a clue what it might be.?

I went there recently to test drive a Fiesta ST and Mirage back to back since people here have been raving about them. I roll up in the Evo and literally I'm invisible. 20 minutes later eventually after multiple receptionist calls someone shows up then says they are kinda busy today and I should come back in a week or two. (The place was a ghost yard).
Plain and simply told the guy I spent nearly $40,000 there and wasn't going to spend a dollar more. I'll drive down to Livonia where I saw another Mitsubishi dealer with the lights on when I'm ready to purchase a 3 banger Mirage.
