Intake help

I'm really having a hard time trying to pick an Intake system for my X. Any recommendations out there with reviews?

Please use the search function.. there are more reviews then you will even want to bother reading. i run ETS and love it. also, you need to know what your goal is with the parts you pick. loud sound, look, jdm, performance??

Used the search.. It's not very friendly. I've read mixed reviews on how intakes really don't gain much other than sound.

The stock X intake is actually pretty good. A drop-in filter is really all you'd need...but I like the noise I run the ETS intake.

It all depends what you want it for. I like the sound the open element makes, so I got one. There are oodles out there, do some googling and see what you like the looks of, etc. They're all going to be fairly comparable as far as performance goes. Just be careful when picking, to get one with the stock MAF housing used, unless you plan on getting a tune when you put it on.

I agree with the others, get the ETS. I dont have one but if I were to spend the money it would be an ETS intake hands down. The look and quality look top notch and the price is good as well.

Personally I have the k&n drop in filter as it came with my car and I have no issues with it.

I agree with ETS. Have on and love it.
As for the search issue, I found googling the question and adding EvoM or EvoX to the search really helps. Its how I do all my searches. Hope it helps.

My favorite way to search EvoM is Google. Just type in [SUBJECT I WANT TO KNOW MORE ABOUT] + EVOLUTIONM and you get better results than using the forum search tool.
