I, personally, would have gotten the Redline cocktail for the transmission, but here I'm assuming that the thread-starter has a GSR, while the bit about changing the "clutch fluid" makes me think otherwise.

As to IKT's post, sometimes when I cough really hard, stuff that has been stored in lung-phlegm since the 1970s is released. That's my best guess as to what happened here.

I'm not sure why you don't want to talk about the clutch fluid. You either have an MR, instead of a GSR, in which case the answers to your questions are quite different, or you really have a GSR, in which case your "clutch fluid" is brake fluid.

No, if I remember correctly you add ATF in the rear fill hole and gear oil in the front fill hole.

Yes on the driver side it says gear oil both fill holes say gear oil one facing the front of the car one facing the rear...On the Passenger side it has the ATF fill hole an drain plug.....Why would they label it gear oil if it is for ATF that makes no sense at all.

Too bad there isn't a set of pictures showing what goes where in a sticky-thread at the top of this sub-forum.
